• How do i pay?

  • What do I do if I'm not home on delivery?
    If you are not at home, we leave the food outside your house or apartment door and send you an SMS. The responsibility for the delivery then passes to you (we send both email and SMS before the delivery as a reminder that we are coming to you).
    If you live in an apartment and our driver does not enter the property, we must not leave the food on the street but must take the food back with us and discard it.
    We do not refund the money in case of failed delivery except when we caused the error.
    Therefore, it is extra important that you have your phone available in connection with delivery if you know that it can be a problem to enter the property, or if you have recently changed code or similar. Because the food is frozen, it lasts for a number of hours, but you should try to hurry home to put the food in the freezer as quickly as possible.
    In case of late cancellation (after Wednesday at 12.00 the same week as your delivery takes place) we will refund 50% of the order value to you.
  • How and when is the food delivered to my home?
    The box collaborates with the company Gordon Delivery who helps us with the deliveries. Deliveries take place between 12 noon and 9 pm on Mondays and between 12 noon and 9 pm on Tuesdays. On Friday afternoon, after Gordon has done his route planning, you will receive an email or SMS with an estimated delivery time of +/- 45 minutes. On Monday / Tuesday, you will then receive an SMS where you can follow your delivery in real time on your mobile phone (smartphone). After the delivery, you can rate the delivery and all feedback is valuable to us, positive as well as views on how we can get better. The box is delivered frozen to your address and left in paper bags at your door. If you are not at home, the food is placed outside your door and you will receive an SMS about completed delivery. All order lists close on Thursdays at 12. After that, we can not add or delete deliveries booked for the upcoming run on Monday / Tuesday. If you need to cancel the delivery after this time, 50% of the order value will be refunded.
  • Customer and membership terms?
    We have 3 different memberships. Quarterly, Half year and Annually. On this period of time when your membership is active every week you have a lot of benefits. When membership runs out you need to renew your membership to get the benefits back again. Read more about all the benefits under The Box Membership.
  • Can I heat the food in a regular oven?
    You can heat the food in a regular oven or microwave. In an ordinary oven, you heat the food at 170 degrees at above and below heat in its packaging for about 1 hour. If you want to speed up the heating, you can thaw the food before. In the microwave, it takes about 8-10 minutes to heat the food directly from the freezer.
  • How many boxes do I get in my freezer?
    Each The Box dinner measures 24 x 19 x 4.7cm and The Box Dessert measures 8 x 8cm. The dishes stay in the fridge for about 4 days, so you can also put some dishes there. The Box dinner weighs 450-600 grams depending on the dish.
  • Are there vegetarian options?
    For now Marokko oumph and Vietnam noodles with tofu is vegetarian.
  • How long does the food keep in the freezer / refrigerator?
    The dishes last 6-8 months from the date of production (indicated on the package) in the freezer. The long shelf life is due to the food being frozen immediately after cooking. There are no preservatives or additives that affect durability. If you do not have enough space in the freezer, it is also possible to store the dishes in the refrigerator for a maximum of four days. We still recommend that you store the food in the freezer for the best quality. If the food is thawed before heating, do not forget to shorten the heating time in the microwave or oven.
